Performance & Transparency

Data Over Promises

At FBW Capital, we believe performance should be evaluated through data rather than marketing claims.

What We May Publish

The Numbers That Actually Tell You Something

Where appropriate and verifiable, we may publish the following information. A headline return on its own tells you very little without the risk figures beside it.

Metric What it describes
Historical returnsResults recorded over a stated past period.
Monthly performancePeriod-by-period breakdown rather than a single aggregate figure.
Maximum drawdownThe largest peak-to-trough decline observed.
Winning / losing trade statisticsThe distribution of outcomes, not just the total.
Risk metricsMeasures describing the risk taken to produce a result.
Strategy durationHow long the strategy has been running.
Trading frequencyHow often the strategy takes positions.
ExposureHow much of the account is committed, and when.
FeesCosts applied under the relevant product agreement.
Other relevant informationFurther data where it helps a fair assessment.
Performance Disclaimer

Read This Before You Read Any Number

Past is not future

Historical performance is not indicative of future results.

Simulated is not live

Backtested, simulated, hypothetical, or paper-trading results may differ materially from actual live trading results.

Conditions change outcomes

Actual performance may be affected by spreads, commissions, slippage, liquidity, leverage, execution conditions, market volatility, technology interruptions, and other factors.

Our Commitment

Transparency Creates Trust

We believe users should understand how their accounts, strategies, fees, risks, and participation arrangements work before making financial decisions.

That means publishing drawdown alongside returns, stating the period a figure covers, and saying plainly when results are simulated rather than live.

What you should always be able to check

  • The period the figures cover
  • Whether results are live, backtested or simulated
  • The drawdown experienced, not only the return
  • The fees applied under the product agreement
  • The risks disclosed for the relevant strategy
No guarantees. No strategy, algorithm, signal, indicator, trader, or company can guarantee profits. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.

Ask for the Data Behind a Strategy

If a strategy is available in your jurisdiction, ask us for its documented parameters, risk metrics and fees before participating.
